Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress who achieved fame for her role in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the 1980s and came to popularity with her role in Tezaab, a film in which she was a part of the cast alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. The next film she appeared in was Dil in which she shared screen space with Aamir. In her early years she began learning at an early stage. She began acting when she was an infant and was struggling for several years because most of her initial film projects were unsuccessful. She found fame and became one of the top film actors. The marriage of her mother led to a hiatus from her acting career. Later, she returned. She was recently an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was awarded the film eight Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit. It is the fourth-highest civil honour in India. Her work in the field of social service is popular.
